Primo Flexicalymene retrosa Trilobite from Mount Orab

Description: Arguably the best-preserved trilobites in the world come from this famous quarry located at Mt. Orab, Ohio. This large adult specimen is no exception. It is fully prone, flawless and inflated. The brachiopod also exhibits life-like preservation. The trilobite was prepared out of the matrix in which it was found. The brachiopod was composited onto the plate for a pleasing aesthetic effect.
