Exocoetoides minorFossil Description: An unusual, rare example of a flying fish fossil death assemblage, as demonstrated by the dramatically-elongated pectoral fins of the primary specimen. The genus name is derived from its resemblance to Exocoetes, a modern-day flying fish. It is well displayed on its Sublithographic limestone matrix in association with a pair of additional specimens, making for a rare multiple.
