Ornithomimus Feathered Theropod Dinosaur ClawDescription: This is a fine quality foot claw specimen of this uncommon bird like ornithomimid, theropod dinosaur. Ornithomimus is a genus of ornithomimid dinosaurs from the Late Cretaceous Period of what is now North America. It was a swift bipedal theropod which fossil evidence indicates was likely covered in feathers. It resembled present day ostriches. Ornithomimus are characterized by feet with three weight-bearing toes, long slender arms, and long necks with birdlike, elongated, toothless, beaked skulls.
