Description: This fine example shows three small beetles who succumbed at the same time to be covered by fine silt. The Green River Formation deposits of Wyoming, Colorado, and Utah are best known for their immaculately-preserved fish, but other examples are known as well, as this specimen attests. This is an uncommon association of multiple beetles which is not often seen.
