 Description:
The classic Phacops “roller” from Ohio is one of
the world’s most recognizable and desirable trilobites.
Its hallmarks include, exquisite preservation, thick lustrous
exoskeleton “skin”, and perfectly preserved Schizochroal
eyes. This one is large with excellent eyes and overall preservation.
To the best of my knowledge the fossil sites from which these
Phacops were collected are now closed to the public.
