Description: This is an excellent find for the specialist collector of Green River fossil flora. Seeds, flowers, cones, buds, etc. are of great interest to collectors and paleobotanists. The long time collector has no idea what plant these valved seeds belong to. He has excellent relations with a few paleobotany paleontologists, and they, as well, have not yet figured this one out.

The Green River Formation holds one of the world’s richest depositories of fossil leaves, plants, vines and aquatic vegetation. My provider alone shows over seventy species he collects. Surely there are many more found. Not only is the variety of plant life phenomenal, the preservation is often superb. The Green River fossils I am offering are collected with the permission of the property owner on privately held land.
