Description: The Cardiospermum genus consists primarily of herbaceous vines. One of today’s living species is considered as an invasive species in the Southern USA! This specimen has excellent preservation, a deep dark chocolate color and is well centered on a small plate.

The Green River Formation holds one of the world’s richest depositories of fossil leaves, plants, vines and aquatic vegetation. My provider alone shows over seventy species he collects.
