Description: This Dominican amber piece displays a fine example of a plant bug with exceptional preservation. Plant bugs, along with a few near relatives, have the ability to walk on spider webs, allowing them to feed on the spider’s leavings. Notice the piercing mouthparts that allow these insects to suck the juices of both plants and insects.
