Modocia typicalisDescription: Coming from the Cambrian Marjum Formation deposits of Millard County, Utah, this is an example of the trilobite Modocia typicalis which has a portion of the left side of the cephalon and genal spine missing. This unfortunate example was attacked, presumably by a predator like Anomalocaris. Given there is no evidence of healing, it most likely died as a result of this attack.
