Western Fossils

Robert Drachuk has moved to:

Tent in back of the Ramada Limited, 665 N. Freeway, Tucson, AZ.

Fossil KitsAs usual, Robert Drachuk will have a wide array of fossils primarily from west of the Mississippi that are too diverse to list. For many years, Robert supplied fossils to companies providing educational fossil kits. This year he decided he could do that better himself. We agree, his fossil kits are both the best on the market, and far and away the best values. Teachers should visit his new web site: Educational Fossils.

Black Cat Mountain Trilobites

The Innsuites Hotel, Room 224-5, 475 N. Granada

Bob Carroll's self-collected and -prepared Oklahoma Devonian Trilobites are world-reknowned - nobody does it better. Click the image to the left to see an amazing Huntoniatonia huntonensis from last year's Tucson Fossil Show that we place first in Fossil Mall's museum fossils section.

PaleoSearch Inc.

The InnSuites Hotel, Fossil Hall (Copper Ballroom), 475 N. Granada

Glenn and Barb Rockers are icons of the Tucson Fossil Show. Museums worldwide line up to see their spectacular fossils, which lately has included some remarkable specimens from the Kansas Chalk.

This years featured fossil from Paleosearch Inc.may be the finest fossil fish offered anywhere in the world in 2008, a six-foot teleost from the world famous Niobrara Formation of Kansas. Ichthyodectes ctenodon, shown above. was a fierce predator of the Cretaceous seas 80 million years ago.

Pangaea Industries

Joe Aaronson will be in his usual spot with his usual array of fine fossils. He travels to Morocco several times a year, returning with treasures from one of the most fossiliferous places on earth.

Roadway Inn, 1365 West Grant Road, Main Tent, booth # 122/123/140/141

Fossils Inc.

George Ast, a retired educator, is one of the most serious western trilobite collectors in the world. George represents Fossil Mall at numerous fossils shows, and this year he'll have his own room at Tucson. The beutiful Nevadia weeksi trilobite shown to the left is typical of George's discoveries.

Ramada Limited, Room 251, 665 N. Freeway, Tucson, AZ.
