Cambrian RusophycusThis is a rare fossil from the Krukowski quarry, Rusophycus sp. Rusophycus, as an ichnogenus, has been placed into the ichnogenus Cruziana by Seilacher (1970), but because in the context of it being a resting place rather than a trackway of a trilobite or similar arthropod, the name Rusophycus is ubiquitously used by ichnologists.

This plate is loaded with track marks, ostensibly of an arthropod, but of an unknown taxon - thus we could call it Rusophycus, new species, due to its un-described status.
