This amber, while distinguished foremost by its massive siz, has other attributes that earn it a position of uniqueness. Its clarity is remarkable, especially considering the size, and it has more than 70 inclusions dispersed about. There are also 2 nice spiders and a plethora of rainforest insect diversity. There are 3 Alates, the delicate-winged, sexual form of Orthoptera (the termite), more than 50 Dipterans of many families, a half-dozen or so each of Coleopterans (beetles), hemipterans (true bugs), Hymenopterans (ants, bees and wasps), and a couple Homopterans (the hoppers).

The specimen is nicely colored and beautifully han-polished.
