Blattodea in amberThis specimen contains one of the truly finest Caddisfly in amberTrichopterans (Caddisfly) and Blattodea (or cockroach) I have ever seen in amber; both dorsal and ventral views are presented. Note the formitable head shield. This insect measures 11 mm. Close to the cockroach's head are two small spiders. There is also a nice 5 mm caddisfly (Order: Trichoptera), 13 Dipterans, 2 bark lice (Order: Psocoptera), a Hemiptera. In all, many orders and much diversity in a golden, hand-polished specimen.
