Cricket and Aphid in Fossil AmberThis is a stunningly beautiful hand-polished amber specimen with rarities and a plethora of once animated like from an ancient rainforest. Its clarity is truly astonishing.

Crickets (insect Order Orthoptera) are rarely found in amber, and this specimen has a beat, vividly red in color, and sporting very long antennae. We will dub him Jiminy Cricket. Jiminy also have many friends, large and small. Keeping Jiminy closest company is a red aphid, also rarely found in amber. Jimmy has a very large Dipteran friend, as well as some 30 diminutive winged companions from Orders Dipteran and Hymenoptera.

This is a truly striking specimen for the collection - or - at 38x36x8 mm it would make for a killer pendant - wire wrap only please!
