This is a gorgeous ammonite pendant. The hand selected and choice ammonite has been cut in half and polished to reveal the internal details. The individual chambers are filled with richly colored Calcite crystals, with the septa (divisions) between each chamber distinctly, making for a superb display piece. The ammonite itself comes from the Cretaceous deposits in Madagascar that date to more than 100 million years ago when dinosaurs ruled the land.

The hand made sterling silver encasement is heavy and thick adding to the stunning beauty of the pendant.
