Flexicalymene meeki TrilobiteDescription: Flexicalymene meeki is a Calymenid trilobite (Order: Phacopida; Family: Calymenidae) coming from the Ordovician Richmond Formation strata of Mount Orab, Ohio. This is a fine prone example whose coloration contrasts well with the shale matrix. It is the softness of the shale which allows these specimens to be prepared in all their splendor. This one is quite 3-D in appearance with slight compression.
