Maurotarion axitiosumDescription: Well-preserved example of a member of the Order Proetida, Family Aulacopleuridae, with sweeping genal spines. One of the reasons for the fine preservation is the fact that this trilobite was prepared by Bob Carroll, a world-renowned preparator of Oklahoma Devonian trilobites. Others may use less care, resulting in a less desirable specimen. This one is relatively rarely found in the Black Cat Mountain quarry, and is popular with collectors. This specimen is the ONLY one I have in stock, so if you want to add another exquisitely-prepared taxon to your collection, do it NOW!
