Description: An wonderfully-preserved example of a lobster of the genus Palinurus, measuring 93 mm, possessing 43 mm long primary antennae. It is extremely rare to find such a fine example of this Cenomanian Stage (93-97 m.y.a.) ancestor of the modern-day spiny lobster in association with several fish. The chitinous exoskeleton is typically rapidly destroyed, making articulated examples like this quite rare.
