Although I am a chemist by training with over 31 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, my abiding passion has always been natural history, with a particular emphasis on paleontology. I remember being fascinated reading about the exploits of Roy Chapman Andrews (the REAL Indiana Jones) in Mongolia during the 1920s. About eight years ago, while reading a copy of Earth magazine, I noticed an ad in the back for fossil dinosaur eggs. I sent off for a video catalogue, and saw therein an egg that was the exact twin of those ascribed to Protoceratops andrewsi, the eggs discovered by Chapman's expeditions. Of course, they are now known to be the eggs of an Ceratarges armatus, Middle Devonian, Alnif, Morocco Oviraptorid dinosaur, but that made no difference. I sent off payment of what for me was an outrageous $800, and received my specimen in a week's time. Once I held that egg in my hand, and realized that some 80 million years ago it was laid by a living dinosaur, I was hooked.

I have since collected many fossils, by far my favorites are the Moroccan Devonian and Russian Ordovician trilobites. My hobby has afforded me the opportunity to meet many interesting people, both collectors and dealers alike. While eBay has been my mainstay, I have now branched out with several associates to open this website devoted to a spectrum of material:
